This elegant soliflore made by the couple of glassmaker Alain and Marisa Bégou offers a tricolor decor all in transparency. Like all the works of the Bégou this vase is made of blown glass. This vase was made around 1985 in Villetelle (Hérault).

BIOGRAPHY

Alain and Marisa Bégou began their joint activity in 1979 in their workshop in Villetelle (Hérault). Since then, the couple expresses its creativity only through blown glass. Marisa is in charge of the decorations, while Alain is entrusted with the shapes of the creations. Their works are now part of the collections of many museums including the Kunstmuseum (Düsseldorf), the Musée des Arts Décoratifs (Paris) and the Smithsonian Institution Cooper Hewitt (New York).
